ILS Driver assisting ILS participant to busIndependent Living For Seniors has a transportation department that provides all the transportation needs for our participants according to their individual care plans. We not only transport to/from the ILS PACE Center, but we also provide transportation to/from medical appointments outside of the ILS PACE Center.

Transportation works with the recreation department to provide transportation needs for chartered events such as luncheons at various restaurants and seasonal trips (i.e., Christmas decorations, fall foliage).

ILS drivers go through an extensive screening process prior to hire and a detailed training program to insure that each driver will meet standards of providing friendly and safe transportation needs to all participants.

Drivers assist participants in and out of their home or apartment and in and out of the ILS PACE Center or medical office with a personal touch.
