The innovative Independent Living for Seniors (ILS) program gives the frail elderly an alternative to nursing home placement. It is designed to enable you to live in your own home served by a network of supportive services. ILS offers all of the health, medical and social services needed to help you maintain your independence, dignity and quality of life. We also provide a team of professionals - working together with you and your family members - to assure that you receive the care and services you need.

Hill Haven offers a wide variety of health care programs designed to help our residents make the most of life during their recovery and treatment, despite their condition or illness. Our residents have access to in-house medical care provided by physicians, nurse practitioners and a range of medical specialists. All of our staff are offered special training programs on how to care for residents with dementia and depression.

DeMay Living Center at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital offers a wide variety of services for the adult who can no longer live independently, and who may need skilled nursing care or short-term rehabilitation. DeMay Living Center is a place where people who need assistance can come to live comfortably in a warm, aesthetically pleasing , homelike environment. Our services are designed with the needs of our senior community in mind. Our staff provides professional, warm care for all our residents and patients.
