Rochester General Hospital offers a broad spectrum of obstetrics services for both routine and high-risk pregnancies. These services include pregnancy testing and imaging services, labor and delivery, midwifery care, diagnostic testing (pre-natal, antenatal, and 4D ultrasound) to ensure the baby's health, and childbirth education to prepare new mothers and help with the family planning process.

Our Obstetrics Services
Pregnancy Testing
Our obstetricians are fully equipped with all the latest technology to perform diagnostic testing and ensure the health of the fetus throughout your pregnancy, including:
- Ultrasounds
- Prenatal Testing
- Antenatal Testing
It is important to schedule visits with one of our obstetricians every four weeks in the second and third trimester to monitor your progress and catch any potential complications early.
Preparing for Delivery
Our childbirth classes include prenatal and postnatal classes, birthing classes, breastfeeding, infant CPR and safety, and more. These classes are aimed to provide expecting and new moms with all the essentials of what to expect during labor, and how to best care for your child.
Labor and Delivery
We aim to provide our patients with a great degree of choice and control over the nature of their delivery. Patients have the option of delivering their baby at our one of our state-of-the-art facilities outfitted with a choice of modern amenities, including the Twig Birthing Center at Rochester General Hospital or the Birthing and Women's Care Center at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
