About Rochester General Medical Associates

Rochester General Medical Associates (RGMA) is a comprehensive primary care center providing health care services to adult and geriatric patients (ages 18 or older). RGMA has two sites located on the ground floor of Rochester General Hospital where you can receive care:

  • TWIG Medical Clinic (located in the Gordon Building)
  • Outpatient Medical Department (OPD)

If you're a patient of RGMA, you will be cared for by a health care team consisting of an Attending Physician, Resident Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, and a Nurse. Our Attending Physicians are board certified in Internal Medicine. The Attending Physician is the leader of your health care team and works closely with the Resident Physician to manage your care. Your Attending Physician remains your primary care provider for as long as you receive your care at RGMA.
