Our Physicians
Dr. Michael Leit earned his medical degree at the Yale School of Medicine, completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and was fellowship-trained in hand, elbow and shoulder surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Leit has special interests in hand, elbow and shoulder disorders and has written many authoritative medical journal articles and book chapters on all three categories.
He lives in Rochester with his wife and four children, and enjoys martial arts, hunting and fishing.

Dr. Steven Posnick earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed his residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, and was fellowship-trained in sports medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Dr. Posnick has special interests in sports medicine and shoulder and knee disorders.
He lives in Rochester with his wife and two children, enjoys outdoor activities, and is proficient in Russian and Thai languages.
