The Thyroid Center offers a comprehensive treatment approach for the management of all types of thyroid disorders, including:

Complete Thyroid Care
We offer complete care for our patients, including a thorough thyroid consultation along with a Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) (if applicable) done all in one visit. You may need an FNA because a lump was discovered and we need to determine what that lump is. Sometimes, lumps may only be felt when you swallow or cannot be felt with your hand, but can be detected using ultrasound. In these cases, we may use ultrasound to ensure that the FNA is accurately performed.
In the past, the only way to test a lump was to go to the hospital and undergo a surgical procedure that may be painful, might cause scarring and more complications, and, most importantly, would involve a longer waiting period for the results. At the Thyroid Center, we can sample the lump using only a thin needle which may leave a mark no bigger than a needle stick after having a blood test. By using FNA, it allows us to often make a diagnosis of your lump within days of the test.
