Mission
The Department of Volunteer Services exists to support the RGH mission of offering the highest quality care and service with compassion for the patients and community served. Volunteers accomplish this, first and foremost, by supporting the emotional and personal needs of our patients and their family members.
The 500+ volunteers of Rochester General Hospital and its many offsite locations currently provide service in clinical as well as non-clinical areas. They serve in more than 30 different capacities in over 70 departments.
