Lead Poisoning Treatment And Prevention Program
The Finger Lakes Lead Poisoning Prevention and Treatment Center evaluates and provides medical treatment for children with elevated blood lead levels. The multidisciplinary team also works to educate the public about the prevention of lead poisoning.
The New York State Department of Health has named Rochester General Hospital and Strong Memorial Hospital as a Regional Lead Poisoning Prevention Resource Center serving children in a nine-county area surrounding Monroe County.
