Directions to the Twig Birthing Center

ALL TIMES (Days, Evenings & Night Hours)

When it is time for your baby’s birth, you will need to know how to get to the Birthing Center and where to park your car. Please follow the directions below for the fastest entry to the unit.

FROM PORTLAND AND NORTON HEADING NORTH:

• Turn left at a drive marked “Birthing Center”. This is prior to reaching
  the main hospital entrance.
• Take the first right and proceed to the TWIG Patient Discharge
  entrance.
   

FROM PORTLAND AND ROUTE 104 HEADING SOUTH:

• Proceed past the hospital’s main entrance and turn right into the
  entrance marked “Birthing Center”.
• Take the first right and proceed to the TWIG Patient Discharge
  entrance.
   

PARKING

At the TWIG Patient Discharge you will find special parking spaces for Maternity Patients on the left - please park in the designated parking spots.
 

DAYS

Go through the sliding doors at the Patient Discharge area.

EVENINGS & NIGHTS

Press the intercom button for Maternity Patients to gain entrance to the hospital. You will be greeted by a member
of our staff who will buzz you into the building. You will be asked to wait in the Lobby area. A member of our staff will come down to promptly escort you to the Birthing Center.

The Twig Birthing Center is located off the Yellow Elevators on the hospital third floor.
