Urology

Urology is the branch of medicine concerned with the urinary tract in both genders, and with the genital tract or reproductive system in the male. Urogenital is a word that refers to the urinary and genital organs.

The medical specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology specializes in the reproduction (genital) system of females. Nephrology is the medical specialty concerned with the kidneys.

The section of Urology provides a full range of diagnostic and urologic treatment services for adults. Adult urology services include treatment for cancer of the urinary tract (including kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, penis, testes), stone disease, urinary infections, urinary incontinence, impotence, and infertility.  The section treats the majority of the area's patients who are in need of care for infertility, impotence and incontinence. The section utilizes the latest in advanced laporascopic technology including Robotic Surgery.
