Arthroscopic Surgery
Rochester General Hospital offers a full compliment of arthroscopic surgical procedures of the knee, shoulder, elbow, and ankle. The vast majority of these procedures are performed through the Ambulatory Surgery Center at Rochester General Hospital. The orthopaedic surgical staff at Rochester General Hospital has multiple surgeons who perform a significant volume of these procedures.
Frequently after an arthroscopic procedure, physical therapy is required for rehabilitation. Because of the excellent communication between our surgeons and physical therapists and occupational therapists there is a smooth continuum of care with physical therapy offered at both the Ridge Road Rehabilitation Center and the Physical Therapy Office at Midtown Tennis.
