Our Quality Commitment
Rochester General's Laboratory is accredited by New York State Department of Health, College of American Pathologists, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (we recently received accreditation with commendation by the JCAHO), and by American Association of Blood Banks.
Our laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day each day of the year to assure timely testing, reporting and delivery of laboratory results.
Our technical staff consists of baccalaureate level and masters level medical technologists who are nationally accredited. Our directors consist of MD and Ph.D. level section heads and are readily available for consultation, including assisting with interpretation of laboratory data or any new testing information.
