General Description

To provide you with better service, the Nephrology Unit has moved to the same location as our Outpatient Dialysis Unit, located at 370 Ridge Road East (corner of Seneca Avenue and Ridge Road). This state-of-the-art facility provides convenient parking with surface level entry, and eight, comfortable treatment rooms.

The Nephrology Unit provides inpatient and outpatient consultative services. It also supervises inpatient acute and chronic hemodialysis, hemofiltration and peritoneal dialysis, and outpatient chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

Some of the diseases or disorders seen by Nephrology include: 

• Resistant Hypertension
• Diabetic Kidney Disease
• Kidney Stones
• Salt and Water Balance
• Evaluation of Blood or Protein in the urine

Additional services available:

• 24-hour blood pressure monitoring
• Renal Dietitian available for consultation
