General Description

Gastroenterology at Rochester General Hospital provides consultative services to both inpatients and outpatients with a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal problems. Multiple diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed including:

  • Colonoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy
  • Upper endoscopy
  • Biliary endoscopy
  • Other specialty testing and educational services

In addition, Gastroenterology provides consultative service in the area of nutrition support.
