Rochester General Hospital's Emergency Department is available 24 hours a day for transfers of emergent cases and traumas.
Our transfer line, (585) 922-7333, is staffed day and night to ensure accessibility and ease of transfer.
Level II Emergency Department

We are a designated Level II Emergency Department that provides emergency services for critically ill and injured patients from throughout Greater Rochester and surrounding counties.

The Department has grown dramatically during the last five years.

The Emergency Department is staffed by 22 specialty-specific attending physicians who provide 24-hour coverage for acute adult and pediatric medical and surgical areas.
