Medical Services
The Department of Medicine at Rochester General Hospital serves as a focal point for many of the clinical services provided by the hospital. The Department includes a wide array of medical subspecialties as well as a full-time General Medical Unit which provides Hospitalist services, and Primary Care Physicians who provide care for patients in the community in hospital-owned and private practices. Most Cardiologists maintain dual appointments in Internal Medicine and in the Department of Cardiac Services.
