May 14, 2010

Reliant Community Credit Union recently made a $1,000 donation to the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital Foundation for pediatric services. The donation was provided through Reliant’s involvement in the New York State Credit Union Leagues annual community program “Credit Unions Care for Kids.”

“Our team was excited to be able to make this donation to help children at Newark-Wayne,” said Colleen McCarty, Member Development Coordinator for Reliant. “As members of the community, we are especially pleased to sponsor this for children.”

“We are so grateful to Reliant for again sponsoring the “Credit Unions Care for Kids” program,” said Tonya Taylor, Executive Director of the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital Foundation and Director of Community Services. “This will help to provide for the special needs children have when they need services at the Hospital.”
