For the first time since he was shot in the back of the head by a 15-year-old while on-duty, Rochester Police Officer Anthony DiPonzio returned to Rochester General Hospital Monday to say "thank you" to the dozens of doctors and nurses who saved his life.

Rochester Police Officer Anthony DiPonzio returned to Rochester General Hospital Monday to formally thank the staff for taking care of him. DiPonzio was shot in the head in the line of duty in January 2009 and says his progress is a direct result of their care.

Officer Returns to Visit Hospital
