About Dr. Douglas Jones
Douglas Jones, MD. was an undergraduate of Colgate University and went to Medical School at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He did his Internal Medicine training at the Rochester General Hospital and fellowship training in Allergy and Rheumatology at the University of Rochester. Dr. Jones has been in the practice of Allergy and Rheumatology here in Rochester since joining the Genesee Health Service in 1985. His interests are in evaluation and treatment of patients with allergies, asthma and autoimmune diseases. He is a fellow of both the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Jones lives in Pittsford with his wife Dr. Rosemary Utz. They have two adult daughters. His activities outside of medicine include marathon running, swimming, biking and weight lifting. He is also active in the Eastern Melodies singing group which performs for area nursing homes, and sings in the Saturday choir at the Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford.
