DeMay Residents Honored with Flag Flown in Iraq
DeMay Living Center residents were recently honored with the gift of a flag that was flown in their honor over the 305th Tactical Psychological Operations Company in Basra, Iraq on Christmas Day 2009. The flag was presented to the residents by Kathleen Babcock, the mother of Col. Stacy Babcock, the commanding officer of the base. The DeMay residents assembled and sent packages to the troops for the holidays with the assistance of the American War Dad’s Chapter 56 and the Therapeutic Recreation Department at DeMay Living Center.
