Rochester General Hospital Physician Receives Humanitarian Honor

Ralph Pennino, MD, Associate Chief of Surgery at Rochester General Hospital and Founder and President of InterVol has been named Humanitarian of the Year by the Vincent Lombardi Lodge #2270 of the Order of the Sons of Italy in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Pennino was presented with the award earlier this month for his work with InterVol, a Rochester-based community, non-profit organization whose volunteers' actions impact lives in our community, our nation and the world. InterVol was founded more than a decade ago and currently has more than 300 volunteers.
Dr. Pennino lives with his family in Brighton.
