Models Needed for Wayne County Breast Cancer Survivors Fashion Show at "Passionately Pink" Event on October 28th

breast cancer pink ribbonWayne County breast cancer survivors are invited to participate as models in the 3rd Annual “Passionately Pink Night of Pampering and Fashion Show” on Wednesday evening, October 28th, at the DeMay Living Center (on the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital campus). This fun, fundraising event is held to bring attention to breast cancer and the importance of regular screening and early treatment for better outcomes. If you, or someone you know, is a breast cancer survivor and would like to participate as a model, please call the Cancer Services Program at (315) 332-2255 by Monday, October 5th for more information.

The “Passionately Pink” event is open to the public and will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm. For a nominal $10 entry fee, attendees are treated to manicures, pedicures, facials, massages and Reiki.  The fashion show will be held from 6:45 pm until 8:00 pm. Refreshments will be served and fabulous raffle prizes will be available, compliments of many area businesses.  

Proceeds will be shared by the Cancer Services Program of Wayne County, which provides free breast services to uninsured women in our area, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world leader in breast cancer education and research.
