Newark-Wayne Community Hospital/DeMay Living Center is also the second largest employer in the County. Through the past generosity and support of the businesses and people in our region, the Foundation has raised funds to purchase advanced medical technology and to support programs for patients and their families.
With more that 22,000 people anticipated for care in its Emergency Department this year, Newark-Wayne Community Hospital will embark on the process of building a new Emergency Department and upgrading other outpatient services.
