Hospitalists Provide Round-the-Clock Quality Care for Patients at Newark-Wayne
"We are pleased to welcome Dr. Qazi to the Hospitalist program," said Arun Nagpaul, M.D., Medical Director and Director of the Hospitalist program. "He brings years of experience in caring for a wide range of patients. He will be a great addition to our team and will be a great asset to the medical staff."
Dr. Qazi earned his medical degree at the University of Peshawar in Pakistan. He completed additional training in hospitals in Pakistan and in the United Kingdom. He completed an elective General Preventive Medicine Residency rotation at John Hopkins School of Public Health in Baltimore, Md. He also completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Rochester General Hospital. In addition, Dr. Qazi has been on staff in hospitals in Pakistan and in the United Kingdom and has been involved in numerous programs and research projects to help people in need including earthquake relief work and medical research for Griffin Hospital in Conn. and at John Hopkins School of Public Health in Baltimore, Md.
Mustafa Qazi, M.D. has joined Arun Nagpaul, M.D., Gregory Heeb, M.D., Yuliya Rehab, M.D., Andrea Gonzalez, P.A, and Karen Orbaker, N.P. in providing Hospitalist Care at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Hospitalists are physicians and practitioners who specialize in caring for patients who are admitted to the hospital from the time they are admitted until their discharge. This service helps to provide round-the-clock high quality care for patients.
