Harvey Fowler and Paul Johnson Appointed to Board of Newark-Wayne Community Hospital / DeMay Living Center

Harvey E. Fowler, Jr. and Paul E. Johnson, R.Ph. were recently appointed to the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital/DeMay Living Center Board of Directors.
“We are so grateful to Harvey and Paul for their commitment to the people of Wayne County and our Hospital and Living Center,” said Annette Leahy, President of Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and DeMay Living Center. “Our Board of Directors is comprised of caring citizens who give countless hours each year to assure that Newark-Wayne and DeMay meet and exceed the needs of our patients, residents and their families, and will do so for many years to come.”
Harvey Fowler has served as the U.S. and Canadian Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager at Eastman Kodak Company and is currently World Wide HSE Manager for the Printers Environmental Partnership Program, which promotes product sustainability.
He earned a B.S in Environmental Sciences from the State University of New York. Fowler is a Registered Environmental Manager, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, and an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Auditor. Fowler has served on the New York State Fish and Wildlife Management Board Region 8 and as the State Habitat Chairman.

Fowler and his wife, Nancy, live in the Town of Galen.
Paul Johnson, a pharmacist, owns and is the President of Marion Pharmacy, Inc. in Marion. He is also the Pharmacy Director for the Finger Lakes Migrant Health Program.
Johnson is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, N.Y. Prior to acquiring Marion Pharmacy, he was a partner in Wayne-Clifton Pharmacy and owned pharmacies in Wolcott, Williamson and others.
Johnson lives in Newark with his wife, Lisa. They have three children.
