Newark-Wayne Community Hospital to Sponsor Head and Neck Cancer Support Group

Newark-Wayne Community Hospital’s Speech Pathology Department is offering a monthly Head and Neck Cancer Support Group on the second Wednesday of each month in Cafeteria Conference Room #1 at 4 p.m. The next few meetings are scheduled on April 14th, May 12th and June 9th.

Gerianne Jackson, M.S., CCC-SLP, Speech Pathologist will facilitate the support group that will offer head and neck cancer survivors and their family members the opportunity to share resources and experiences. Guest speakers will be scheduled on topics of interest to the group including nutrition, communication and other subjects. Refreshments will be provided.
