Begin a Career in Healthcare

The Youth Apprenticeship Program and Rochester General Health System gives city school students the chance to succeed and achieve a career in health care.  Each participant earns not just his/her high school diploma, but a Certificate of Completion attesting to the fact that the student has had youth employment competency training, and has the skills necessary to be a conscientious and productive employee.

This training, provided by both the school and the program makes students eligible for entry level positions such as:

  • Patient Care Technician
  • Pediatric Technician
  • Material Records Assistant
  • Respiratory Care Aide
  • Transporter and Lab Assistant
