Admissions
The Admissions cycle begins in September for the following year. Our Program accepts both students who have completed three years of study at their home college or university (3+1) as well as those who already hold the bachelor’s degree (4+1).
For 3+1 students, the internship constitutes the senior year and the student is granted the bachelor’s degree from his/her home college at the conclusion of the internship. For 4+1 students, the internship is a fifth year of study. These students do not receive a separate degree, but do receive a certificate of completion as do all students at the end of the internship.
The Program considers candidates from affiliated college and universities and non-affiliated college and universities on an equal footing. Usually 12-18 students are accepted for each internship year. Drawing students from a wide variety of sources creates an exciting, team-oriented atmosphere among class members.
At the conclusion of the Program all students are eligible to sit for a national certification examination. Our students have historically done extremely well on comprehensive challenge examination.
