Welcome to the Rochester General Hospital School of Medical Technology! I invite you to explore our Program and become familiar with the excellent educational environment present in our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Our Program was founded in 1934 with the express purpose of educating qualified students in the profession of medical technology/clinical laboratory science. We are accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.

Our graduates perform excellently on the national certifying examination and build exciting, satisfying careers in clinical laboratories, private laboratories, research and development, the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, the medical equipment industry, and colleges and universities, to name only a few scenarios. Nationwide, career prospects for those with Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science backgrounds are very bright indeed.
