doctors talking in a hallwayThe Office of Physician Services is dedicated to the recruitment of high quality, skilled physicians to complement our premier medical and dental staff. Meeting the health care needs of our two community hospitals, Rochester General Hospital and Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, is critical to our mission. We work with hospital departments as well as employed and community practices to attract, screen, and secure physician candidates by:

  • Promoting the strengths of our hospitals and affiliated practices
  • Supporting you throughout the recruitment process
  • Assisting new physicians and their families with relocation to our health care system and community
  • Participating in national and regional groups as well as physician groups and committees

Retention

Retention of our physicians is among our leading priorities. The Physician Services team meets with all new physicians to ensure a smooth transition to our health care system. In addition, we provide ongoing support to all of our physicians through individualized assistance and system initiatives focused on enhancing your experience.

Retirement

As you begin thinking about pending retirement, we offer help in creating a succession plan to facilitate a smooth transition for your practice and your patients.
