Prenatal and Family Life

Having a baby is one of the most wonderful times but with the excitement comes lots of questions. RGHS is dedicated to providing classes and information to help you prepare for this important time in your life. Each class in the program is designed to encourage, inspire and celebrate as you await the birth of your newest family member. 

Our Early Pregnancy class helps prepare expectant parents for some of the changes and challenges a pregnancy brings.  Other classes such as Late Pregnancy – Childbirth and the Birth Refresher class will provide you with the information and techniques you’ll need as you prepare to deliver your baby. We have not forgotten about the other very important people in your new baby’s life…the siblings and grandparents! Rochester General offers classes to prepare big brothers and sisters for the new arrival.

Grandmothers and Grandfathers are encouraged to attend our Grandparenting101 class that focuses on how to best enjoy your new grandchild and support the new parents.
