Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeons, Drs. Alexander and Whitbeck to Speak on Orthopaedic and Spine Treatments
June 11, 2010
Options in Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery Talk - Greystone Golf Club, June 22 from 6-8 pm
As we age, joint and spine problems can have an increasing impact on our lives. They often become more debilitating and prevent us from enjoying the activities of daily living including work and recreation. In fact, delayed treatment can also lead to more complex injuries and greater pain. Treatments are available, however, and studies are showing that they can be viable options for people well into their 80s. That is why Dr. Dan Alexander, an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic and joint replacement surgeries, and Dr. Gordon Whitbeck, an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon, will speak on the treatments available for orthopaedic spine problems on June 22nd at Greystone Golf Club at 6:00 pm.
“We are seeing the benefit of surgical and other treatments for patients with bone and joint problems daily,” said Dr. Dan Alexander. “These injuries cause a great deal of pain and can prevent people from sleeping, working and being involved in many of the activities that they enjoy.”
“Spine problems can be incapacitating,” said Gordon Whitbeck, MD “I enjoy helping people who have been forced to limit their activities, so that they can get back to work and can more fully participate in everyday life.”
Dr. Alexander’s and Dr. Whitbeck’s talk, “Options in Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery” will be held at Greystone Golf Club on Tuesday evening, June 22nd from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (registration begins at 5:30 pm).
