The mission of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Training Program at Rochester General Hospital is to train clinical radiologists of the highest caliber in the setting of a tertiary care teaching hospital.
The program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education. There are 16 residents and 21 faculty members. There are no fellows which ensures excellent experience especially in the field of interventional radiology.
Training is designed to prepare residents for the rigors of a busy private or academic practice. However, a balance is maintained to provide a friendly, relaxed environment for learning.
Graduates of our residency program are employed at all levels of private and academic practice.
