Clinical Breast Navigator

Dealing with breast health, screening or a breast cancer diagnosis is a complex and highly-individualized process that requires support and guidance. For this reason, the Rochester General Breast Center features a Clinical Breast Navigator whose role is to provide you with the resources needed to help:

  • Understand the care process
  • Access the care and treatment services you need
  • Help reduce financial barriers to treatment
  • Find support resources to help you and your family cope with a breast cancer diagnosis

Andrea LaRosa, RN, BSN

Andrea LaRosa - Breast NavigatorAndrea is a grduate from Monroe Community College with an Associates degree in Health Science.  She completed her Bachelors degree in nursing at St. John Fisher College (Rochester, NY).  Andrea has been an employee at Rochester Genreal Hospital for 16 years and has experience in the Emergency Dept, Operating Room and worked as a staff nurse on a Medical/Surgical unit.  She also has done hospice work at the Sunset House (Rochester, NY) and is a member of Genesee Valley Nurses Association (GVNA) and Oncology Nursing Association (ONS).
