The Women’s Health Center at Alexander Park offers leading-edge care for women of all ages in an intimate, relaxed and nurturing environment.
Our multidisciplinary team includes board-certified physicians who train residents from Rochester General Hospital and specialize in urinary incontinence, pelvic floor disorders, robotic and other minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, and hysteroscopy. We provide comprehensive routine obstetrical care, as well as routine and well-woman gynecological services. And we collaborate with a fellowship-trained obstetrician for high-risk pregnancies, antenatal testing, and obstetrical ultrasound.
An on-site financial specialist can assist patients with insurance coverage.
We accept most insurance plans, although some require a referral when making an appointment. Referrals may be obtained from your primary care physician. Fees are on a sliding scale based on financial need.
Elizabeth Bostock, MD PhD
Dr. Bostock received her PhD in Neurobiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Medical Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Strong Memorial Hospital. She joined Genesee Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2001, and joined the faculty at Rochester General in 2013.
Dr. Bostock’s expertise in gynecology includes adolescent medicine, sexually transmitted diseases, abnormal pap tests and hpv, endometriosis, management of polycystic ovarian syndrome, management of abnormal bleeding, sexual medicine, infertility, menopausal medicine and hormone replacement, pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse. Her surgical expertise includes abdominal, vaginal and laproscopic surgeries including hysterectomy, myomectomy, surgeries on fallopian tubes and ovaries, surgical sterilization, hysteroscopy for management of polyps and fi broids, endometrial ablation and cystocele and rectocele repair. She is a trained Da Vinci robotic surgeon. Dr. Bostock’s expertise in obstetrics includes management of singleton and twin pregnancies, recurrent miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and molar pregnancy.
Dr. Bostock has raised two amazing daughters, and enjoys skiing, running, biking, spinning,pilates, gardening, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors. She is happily living in the Highland Park neighborhood of Rochester.
Danielle Clair, MD
Dr. Danielle Clair completed her Baccalaureate degree in Premedical Sciences at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley Massachusetts and her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts medical school. She completed her residency at the University of Rochester and Strong Memorial Hospital Medical Center and has been practicing as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 1998.
Dr. Clair is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and was Board Certifi ed by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in 2000. Her professional interests include menopause, geriatric gynecology, contraceptive technology, minimally-invasive procedures, laparoscopy and ultrasound.
She resides in Pittsford with her two children.
Jeff Gordon, MD
Dr. Jeffrey Gordon joined the Rochester General Hospital faculty and served as medical director before pursuing his practice in Newark.
A board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, Dr. Gordon earned his medical degree at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers Medical School. He worked many years in private practice in the Adirondacks region before moving to Rochester to be medical director of Ob/Gyn at Lifetime Health, followed by a move to Rochester General. Special interests include laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, routine and adolescent gynecology, routine and high-risk obstetrics, family planning, and resident and medical school teaching. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Rochester and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gordon enjoys reading, golf, travel, and spending time with his wife and family.
Kimberly Bielewicz, FNP
Kimberly Bielewicz began her nursing career at Rochester General Hospital in the obstetrics and gynecology unit, spending 11 years there while furthering her education. After becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked part-time in a private family practice and then joined The Women’s Center at Alexander Park in 2007.
Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Ms. Bielewicz received her medical education and training at Syracuse University and St. John Fisher College. Her clinical interests are in routine and adolescent gynecology.
She enjoys the outdoors, photography, and spending time with her husband and new baby.
Lowry Simpson, CNM
Born and raised in Jamaica, Lowry Simpson has cared for women as a midwife since 1993 in a freestanding birth center, an in-hospital birth center, and in a traditional obstetrical setting.
Board certified by the American College of Nurse Midwifery, Ms. Lowry received her nursing and midwifery education in Bebington, England, before marrying and relocating to Rochester. Her clinical interests include routine obstetrical care, adolescent and routine gynecology, family planning, and menopausal management.
She enjoys cooking Jamaican cuisine, interacting with people of different cultures, volunteering for charity organizations, and spending time with family.
