Preparing for Surgery

If you and your physician have decided that you need surgery, you will need to schedule a few pre- and post-surgery appointments with your physician's office to fill our the necessary paperwork and to discuss the procedure with your surgeon and any questions or concerns that you may have.

Your physician’s office will schedule your pre-admission testing appointment for you one month to two weeks before your scheduled procedure to review your medical history, complete any necessary lab tests and provide directions on where to go and what to do the day before and the day of surgery. Pre-admission testing is done prior to scheduled procedures, including surgery. All testing requires written orders from a physician.

Rehabilitation & Therapy

Rehabilitation services may be required or suggested as part of your overall treatment plan. We partner with Rochester General Rehabilitation Specialists to offer physical and occupational therapy for our patients following a procedure.
