General Description
The Department of Ophthalmology is a full-service teaching and treatment eye center that is committed to providing total quality ophthalmic care and education for the Rochester General Hospital community and surrounding areas.
General adult and pediatric ophthalmologic care is provided, including the ophthalmic specialties of glaucoma, cornea and external disease, medical and surgical retina, low vision rehabilitation, oculoplastics and strabismus.

- Ocular and orbital ultrasonography
- Visual field testing (Goldman and Humphrey)
- Fundus photography
- Fluorescein angiography
- Color vision testing
