Dr. Michaelides earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and completed her urologic residency at University of Rochester Medical Center. She has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals on a variety of urologic conditions, and has received special recognition for her patient-oriented care. Her special interests include urologic oncology and voiding dysfunction.

Board certified in urology, Dr. Valvo is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his urology residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. A member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a diplomat of the American Board of Urology, Dr. Valvo is also a clinical associate professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and Executive Director of the Polisseni Center for Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Rochester General Hospital. His special interests include robotic and minimally invasive urologic surgery and men's health issues.

Vascular Surgery

Patrick Riggs, MD
Division Chief, Vascular Surgery Dr. Riggs is Chief of Vascular Surgery Associates at Rochester General Hospital. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery, Section of Vascular Surgery, University of Rochester. He specializes in the repair of thoracoabdominal aneurysms and renal and visceral bypasses.

Anthony DiBenedetto, MD, FACS Dr. DiBenedetto earned his medical degree and completed a general surgery residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is board certified in general surgery and is the Medical Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Rochester General Health System.  


Mark Eigg, MD Dr. Eigg earned his medical degree from the State of New York, Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Eigg is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Eigg's areas of special clinical interest include obstetrics, advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy, alternatives to hysterectomy, fertility, pelvic pain management, endometriosis, female incontinence evaluation and treatment, and advanced pelvic surgical reconstruction.
