Angioplasty and Coronary CT Angiography (CTA)
Coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA), sometimes referred to as coronary CT angioplasty, is a new procedure used to diagnose coronary artery disease. Coronary angiography is a noninvasive method for detecting blockages in the coronary arteries and can be performed much faster than a cardiac catheterization with less risk, discomfort and decreased recovery time.
Apothecary
The General Apothecary is an outpatient pharmacy located on the ground floor of the Hospital near the Emergency Department. It provides a convenient place where patients at Rochester General can have initial prescriptions filled before leaving the Hospital.
Archives and History
The Rochester Medical Museum and Archives is located at 333 Humboldt Street and represents the vast array of Rochester’s Healthcare -- some nineteen collections in all. This gallery was designed with temporary exhibits: photos, art and historical vignettes in mind.
