Addiction Services
Rochester Mental Health Center's Addictions Services provides a unique setting in which to address the individual needs of the chemically dependent person. Based in an outpatient clinic, the program's multidisciplinary staff is trained to evaluate the patient's immediate needs, such as detox, acute medical problems, mental health issues, and to recommend treatment in the least restrictive level of care. Services are provided at the Hart Building, 490 East Ridge Road.
If a patient is considered appropriate for Addictions Services, treatment can begin within a week. Here, patients can begin to share experiences in a group in order to learn from each other about the concepts of chemical use, abuse, and dependence.
