Volunteer Orientation & Training

Volunteer Orientation consists of two parts:

  1. A Self Study portion completed on your own by accessing the self-study document below.
  2. A 90-minute, in-classroom orientation and training session at Rochester General Hospital.

Self Study Course

Step #1:  Open Volunteer Orientation Self Study Presentation to begin the self-study course. Carefully review the content since you will be asked to complete an orientation post-test.

Step #2:  Open, print, complete, sign and date the following documents that will go into your official volunteer file:

  1. Self-Study Topic Checklist
  2. Orientation Post-Test
  3. Confidentiality Statement

Step #3: Please read and review the Dress Code Policy as part of the Self-Study process.
