Due to the rapid increase in flu cases in the last two weeks, Rochester General Hospital will be implementing patient visitation restrictions, effective immediately.
To limit the effects of overcrowding and help reduce further transmission of the flu and/or other infectious diseases, Rochester General Hospital will be instituting the following restrictions for hospital visitors:
All visitors experiencing any symptoms typically associated with the flu (runny nose, coughing/sneezing, high temperature, etc.) are asked to not come to the hospital, even if vaccinated against the flu this season.
Thank you for your cooperation
